Arboretum

We took a trip to the Arboretum this weekend on a beautiful sunny day. We had a nice little picnic and then went for a stroll/bike ride. By the end of our stroll Leo was so pooped that he literally fell asleep at the wheel.

Jacob's First Carnival Ride

At the festival in the park across the street from our house they brought in a little carnival ride for the first time in the 6 years we've lived here. This morning we went over to watch them set it up, and when it came time to ride it later in the afternoon Jacob was so completely excited. Here's a little video. My phone must have gone a little haywire in the middle.

Wrestling

I think Leo may have a future as a Greco Roman Wrestler. Jacob and Leo are really into wrestling each other these days. Mommy and Daddy get to be the refs.

Jacob and Leo have an ever evolving relationship that involves whacking each other across the head, calling each other "meany", and in the more pleasant moments hugging and tickling and giggling with each other. Jacob is often getting Leo to laugh with his funny faces, and Leo amuses Jacob with his silly made up words. Here are a few sweet brother moments...

Car Show

Jacob and Daddy went to the Chicago Auto Show this past weekend with our friend Jason and his boys Abe and Zev. The boys had a blast trying out the driver seat in every possible car they could noodle their way into. Jacob especially liked checking out the engines they had on display. We have been woefully bad about posting to the blog in the last few months so there are a ton of photos and various occasions that we will hopefully get around to posting.
